Dragon Show at Dragon Bridge

The main attraction in the center of Da Nang is undoubtedly the large Dragon Bridge which stretches over an ominous 666 meters and has the claim to fame of being the longest bridge of its kind in the country.

Every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm you can walk down to the waterfront and watch a show which lights up the bridge and the dragon even breaths fire and water.

Full Moon Lantern Festival  – Ancient part of Hoi An

Hoi An Ancient Town is famous not only for its ancient house and traditional dishes, but also its lovely colorful lanterns.

The townsfolk will celebrate Hoi An’s bygone days reenacting cultural activities and honouring their ancestors with offerings to shrines and burning incense. Hoi An’s old quarter is pedestrianised (no bicycles or motorised vehicles until 10pm) and fluorescent lights are banned adding to the old world charm.

Tuong Performance

Tuong” is a traditional classical theater in dramatic and musical art form originally from traditional folk dance and musical drama, reflecting the country’s rich and unique culture. Tuong performances are highly stylized and describe the heroic individuality and humanity in human behaviours. It could be said that “Tuong” is a stage of Vietnamese heroes. Some impressive Tuong performances by artistes from the city-based Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre will be staged at the eastern end of the Han River Bridge

Bài chòi performance helps create an exciting and entertaining atmosphere along the river bank.

Between March and September, the ‘Weekend Playground’ event for local Youth Union members will take place at the western end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge opposite the city’s Museum of Cham Sculpture.


Participants will be treated to a fast and scenic course that begins with a 1.9–km ocean swim in front of the beautiful Hyatt Regency Da Nang Resort & Spa, host hotel and race central. From there, athletes will enjoy a scenic two–loop 90–km bike course on smooth, well paved roads that runs along Danang´s pristine coastline and past some of the city´s key landmarks. The final 21–km out–and–back run course is flat and passes by many of Danang´s famous beach resorts before returning to the Hyatt for a stunning beach front finish. With tropical conditions, this warm-weather destination event is the perfect mid–season race to prepare athletes for their summer IRONMAN events.

Techcombank Ironman 70.3 is 3-in-1 sports competition including swimming, bicycling and half-marathon. This is the biggest of its kind in Vietnam and listed among the top series in Asia.
